ISTANBUL, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press
reports and events which could affect Turkish financial markets
on Tuesday.
The lira IYIX= traded at 1.5480 against the dollar early
on Tuesday compared with a close of 1.5435 on Monday. Turkey's
main share index .XU100 rose 0.56 percent to 27,987.65 points
on Monday. The yield on the benchmark June 23, 2010 bond fell to
22.74 percent from 24.15 percent on Friday <0#TRTSYSUM=IS>.

 GLOBAL MARKETS
Japan's Nikkei index rose nearly 4 percent on Tuesday, as
exporters gained on the yen's recent weakness, though other
markets were down after reports pointed to a shrivelling U.S.
economy ahead of the presidential election. The elimination of
uncertainty surrounding the election could provide a short-term
boost to the dollar and equities though the longer-term impact
on investor sentiment, especially with regard to rescue policies
shaped only in the last several weeks, was unclear.
