No plans to enter banks' share capital - Italy PM
RHO, Italy Nov 5 (Reuters) - Italy has no plans to take stakes in banks' share capital unless requested, Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said on Wednesday.
"The state does not intend to go into banks' capital, only if the bank requests it," he said at a motorcycle trade show.
Berlusconi said a bank rescue plan could be carried out using convertible bonds or preferred shares.
