The Analyst Exchange Launches World-Wide Locations to Offer World-Class
Training in the Finance Industry
NEW YORK, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Analyst Exchange, a premier
corporate financial modeling training company, has launched 50 locations in 28
countries to offer world-class training to professionals in the banking,
private equity and wealth management industries.
The New York City-based company also is offering discounts on some on-site
programs.
The Analyst Exchange offers training for three key audiences:
-- Entrepreneurs, day traders and corporate finance professionals
-- Corporations, investment banks and private equity firms that seek to
better prepare their workforce
-- Recent business school graduates who recognize they need to be better
prepared to enter these competitive industries
The Analyst Exchange also is a modeling resource that offers assistance
via courses and round-table discussions that allow students and professionals
to communicate directly with leaders in the field.
The programs are taught by highly trained professionals with backgrounds
in the finance industry.
Analyst Exchange Managing Director Mark Berman said that, as a former head
of Lehman Brothers Tokyo Equity Research, he has seen first-hand how graduates
of top business schools are unprepared at basic analysis.
"Having hired many people from top business schools, I know how they were
pretty sadly prepared for working in finance," he said. "Companies are looking
for a workforce that can actually contribute to the company. They have to have
a deeper knowledge than marketing and basic finance."
Even though budgets are tight, companies can benefit long-term from
educating their top employees in programs like The Analyst Exchange.
"Companies are cutting back, but you don't want to cut the education of
people you are retaining," Berman said. "This is a very inexpensive way of
improving the skill set of your workers at a time when you need people who are
sharper."
The on-site training allows for class sizes of only five people to
maintain personalized learning opportunities. There also are two available
formats: five full-day training sessions of six hours per day or 10-day
evening training for three hours per day. The curriculum includes:
-- Financial statements
-- Mergers and acquisitions
-- Leveraged buyouts
-- Valuation and presentation
Based in New York City, The Analyst Exchange was founded by CEO Paul
Pignataro, who has extensive corporate finance experience.
