TORONTO Nov 12 (Reuters) - Canada's Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said on Wednesday that its industry minister has had meetings with the country's auto makers as the car companies struggle to survive amid the global credit crunch.

The moves come as the automakers seek emergency funding from governments on both sides of the border. ($1=$1.21 Canadian) (Reporting by Scott Anderson, Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
