Bookies see Europe stocks tracking Wall Street rally
PARIS |
PARIS Nov 14 (Reuters) - Financial bookmakers expect to see the leading European benchmark indexes rising on Friday, as they track a sharp rally on Wall Street and in Asia.
Spreadbetters are looking for London's FTSE .FTSE to open 156 to 162 points higher, or as much as 3.9 percent lower, Frankfurt's DAX .GDAXI to gain 193 to 204 points, or as much as 4.4 percent, and Paris' CAC 40 .FCHI to add 132 to 149 points, or as much as 4.6 percent in early trade.
U.S. stocks surged on Thursday and broke a three-day losing streak after the S&P 500 and Nasdaq touched new five-year lows earlier in the session, prompting investors to put aside worries about the flagging economy.
