WASHINGTON (Reuters) - House and Sentate Democratic leaders want auto firms to provide a plan for spending the $25 billion in aid they seek, a House aide said on Thursday.

* Aide says if auto firms submit plan, congress "likely" to hold session in next few weeks to debate auto legislation

* House aide says democratic leaders will reject senate-negotiated bill; first want to see automakers plans on use of money
