Taiwan's Chi Mei cuts Q4 LCD shipments forecast

TAIPEI Dec 8 (Reuters) - Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corp 3009.TW, Taiwan's No.2 LCD maker, cut its fourth-quarter shipment forecast on Monday, citing weak demand.
Chi Mei now expects fourth-quarter TV and PC panel shipments to decline 35-40 percent from the third quarter.
Previously, Chi Mei expected PC panel shipments to drop 10-15 percent, while TV panel shipments would fall 15 percent over the same period. (US$1=T$33.5) (Reporting by Baker Li, Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
