NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India's ruling Congress was set to form a government in the western state of Rajasthan and hold on to Delhi as counts of state elections were released, television reported on Monday, citing election officials.

The opposition Bharatiya Janata Party was due to hold on to Madhya Pradesh state, while the vote in Chhattisgarh state between the two main national parties was neck and neck.
