Obama to hold news conference on health care

CHICAGO (Reuters) - President-elect Barack Obama will hold a news conference on Thursday at 11 a.m. EST to discuss the American health care system.

In a statement, Obama's office gave few details but said he would "discuss the future of the nation's health care system."

Obama has been widely expected to announce former Sen. Tom Daschle as secretary of Health and Human Services.
