BNP has no comment on Madoff exposure report

PARIS (Reuters) - French bank BNP Paribas (BNPP.PA) had no comment on Sunday on a report in the Wall Street Journal it may have some exposure to the alleged $50 billion fraud by former Nasdaq chairman Bernard Madoff.
A spokesman said he had no comment on the report which mentioned the name of the bank, among others, but did not say what the exposure would be.
