Toyota cuts 08/09 auto sales forecast by 8.5 percent
NAGOYA |
NAGOYA (Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp, the world's largest car maker, on Monday cut its global auto sales forecast by 8.5 percent for the year ending March 2009 amid a worldwide economic downturn.
Toyota now expects to sell 7.54 million vehicles during the current business year, down from its previous forecast of 8.24 million.
