Thainox to halt production for 1 month due to weak demand

BANGKOK Dec 23 (Reuters) - Thainox Stainless PCL INOX.BK, Thailand's largest stainless steel producer, said on Tuesday it planned to stop its production for one month due to weak global demand.

The shutdown would help the firm save costs at its Rayong plant and the company had sufficient inventory to serve the market, it said in a statement. (Reporting by Khettiya Jittapong; Editing by Kazunori Takada
