Dow Chemical down after Kuwait pulls out of JV deal

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Shares of Dow Chemical (DOW.N) fell 6 percent before the bell after Kuwait pulled out of a proposed $17.4 billion joint venture deal, leading to speculation Dow's proposed acquisition of Rohm and Haas ROH.N could be jeopardized.

Rohm and Haas shares plunged 17.6 percent to $52.38 in premarket trade.
