Baltimore Mayor Dixon indicted-state prosecutor
NEW YORK |
NEW YORK Jan 9 (Reuters) - The Maryland State Prosecutor on Friday indicted Mayor Sheila Dixon, according to the office's website.
No other details were immediately available.
The Baltimore Sun said on its website that Dixon, a Democrat, was charged with perjury, theft, fraudulent misappropriation and misconduct, stemming in part from gifts she received from former boyfriend and developer Ronald Lipscomb, who was also charged earlier this week.
