Indian shares turn positive, Satyam down
MUMBAI |
MUMBAI Jan 9 (Reuters) - India's main stock index reversed early losses on Friday on short-covering after falling more than 2 percent, but shares in Satyam Computer (SATY.BO) were down more than 55 percent.
At 10:13 a.m. (0443 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was up 0.4 percent, or 37.67 points, at 9,634.75, with 17 of its components rising.
The 50-share NSE index .NSEI was down 0.35 percent at 2,910.20. (Reporting by Ami Shah; Editing by Ranjit Gangadharan)
