BA-Insight and Axceler Announce a Strategic Partnership Enabling Integration
Between Microsoft SharePoint and IBM Lotus Notes

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- BA-Insight, the global leader in
Microsoft-based information access technology, today announced the release of
the Lotus Notes Connector for SharePoint, the next release, in a growing suite
of connectors for Microsoft SharePoint. Co-developed in partnership with
Axceler, an IBM Business Partner and Certified Lotus Advisor, the Notes
Connector enables organizations to automatically connect SharePoint to Notes,
and expose the data to users securely through an intuitive search interface.
The Product will be unveiled for the first time at Lotusphere 2009, January
18-22 in Orlando, Florida.

"Partnering with Axceler was a key element of our success in developing this
technology. Axceler has extensive experience in the IBM Lotus Notes market, so
they are very familiar with real-world content management challenges of Notes
clients," explained Guy Mounier, BA-Insight's CEO. "Combined with BA-Insight's
experience in delivering state of the art Microsoft based information access
solutions, the partnership yielded a product that fills the gap in the market
to integrate both platforms."

The major issue with connecting SharePoint to Lotus Notes today is to properly
map security in a scalable way. The Lotus Notes Connector for SharePoint
brings exciting new capabilities to the marketplace, such as automatic
security mapping from Notes to Active Directory, and automatic property
extraction and mapping. The Lotus Notes Connector for SharePoint fits nicely
into an Enterprise Search strategy that provides end-user unified access to
content across SharePoint, Notes, and other repositories, or a Notes migration
strategy that enables instant integration of Notes into SharePoint, while
content is migrated to the SharePoint platform.

"With this Notes Connector release, Axceler further demonstrates our growing
momentum in the SharePoint marketplace," commented Axceler President Michael
Alden. "Our goal is to provide our enterprise customers with comprehensive
visibility and insight into their SharePoint environments. We are further able
to achieve this by partnering with BA-Insight and marrying their extensive
SharePoint expertise with our acute understanding of Lotus Notes technology."
