Travelex Opens New Mall-Based Stores

NEW YORK--(Business Wire)-- Travelex, the world`s leading foreign currency exchanger, is opening 10 new stores in malls around the country, despite the weak economy. The new stores bring Travelex`s total mall stores to 29. Stores will offer services such as foreign currency exchange, money transfers, traveler`s checks and the company`s popular Cash Passport, a pre-paid, signature-protected foreign currency card. "Malls may not be a traditional place to do business in our industry, but we find our customers like the convenience of conducting business with us while they`re doing other errands," said Jon Dario, North American retail director.
