Motricity Strengthens Executive Team with Industry Veterans

the appointments of Jim Smith to the role of President and Chief Operating
Officer, Richard Leigh as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Deepak
Dhawan as Senior Vice President Solutions and Services and Abe Danzinger as Vice
President Sales Engineering.

With 20 years of global operating and management experience, Mr. Smith is tasked
with the operational leadership at Motricity. Mr. Smith is responsible for
Motricity's market expansion and day-to-day execution across all company
functions. In a variety of senior leadership positions throughout his career Jim
has successfully built global organizations of scale with consistent execution
in areas including strategy, product management, sales, services, R&D, mergers
and acquisitions, business planning and operations. 

Mr. Smith has demonstrated success in building enterprise application and
services businesses, driving sales, developing satisfied customers and deploying
advanced solutions into Fortune 500 companies. For the last six years, Mr. Smith
served as a senior executive at Avaya, the world's leading communication
company. As a division General Manager, he was responsible for a $600M dollar
applications business and establishing #1 global market leadership while
improving profitability. Before Avaya, Mr. Smith was Chief Operating Officer and
Co-Founder of Vector Development, an e-commerce operating company. Earlier in
his career Mr. Smith worked with many Global 1000 customers delivering
transformative strategies and business realization as a senior executive with
Accenture.

Mr. Leigh`s experience in corporate governance and compliance with
Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC filings and risk management will be instrumental in his new
role as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Motricity. He will have
primary responsibility for all legal and regulatory matters for the
organization. Previously, Leigh served as Executive Vice President, General
Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Cell Therapeutics, Inc., where he advised
the company and board of directors on all legal matters related to the
organization. For seven years, Leigh served as Vice President and General
Counsel to Paul Allen's Vulcan Inc. and its affiliates, where he managed the
legal aspects of Vulcan`s real estate and construction projects, investment
portfolio management, entertainment, cultural initiatives and non-profit
entities.

Mr. Dhawan has an outstanding track record of achieving significant growth for

President, Solutions & Services, he will be responsible for leveraging
Motricity`s mCore Platform to deliver industry leading solutions and services to
global operators and content providers. Previously, Mr. Dhawan served as a
senior Marketing executive at RealNetworks, a leading digital entertainment
company and spent five years at AT&T Mobility (Previously Cingular Wireless /
AT&T Wireless) where he held executive roles in Corporate Strategy, Marketing
and Network Business Planning. 

Mr. Danziger has over 24 years of in-depth expertise and demonstrated success in
growing and developing worldwide professional services, engineering, support and
pre-sales organizations for high technology and solutions-oriented corporations.
Abe served in executive management roles in companies such as Informix Software,
Hyperion Solutions, Amdocs, where he was VP, Services responsible for building a
global team of consultants generating over $300M in revenue, realizing 20%
growth quarter over quarter, and most recently as SVP, Services at Avolent. As
Vice President, Sales Engineering for Motricity, he will be responsible for
driving significant growth in the sales organization and building a highly
skilled global team that is focused on quality, solution sales and services.
