provide its finance, merchandising and pharmacy teams with improved
insight into sales and performance across its Rexall family of
pharmacies.
* Katz Group's integrated pharmacy network is comprised of corporately
owned, franchise and independent pharmacies. Its corporately owned
chains in Canada are Rexall Drug Stores and Rexall Pharma Plus.
* In addition to its retail operations, the Katz Group owns and operates,
Rexall Direct, Canada's only national mail order pharmacy as well as
progressive pharmacy divisions such as Rexall Health Services, ProPharm
Limited and Rexall Specialty Pharmacy.

in order to more easily track sales across its network. The
implementation is part of Katz Group's strategy to centralize and
integrate core financial, procurement and asset management operations
across its enterprise using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
* The JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial Management applications replace
various spreadsheets used by each line of business to update the
general ledger with the high volume of daily sales information stemming
from retail and mail order operations.
* Katz Group expects to use JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to help identify
opportunities to add value within each business and across the company
as a whole, by providing faster, easier access to accurate sales
information and better insight into key performance metrics.
