Infor Warehouse Management, RFID and ERP Solutions to Help Lighting Products
Manufacturer Reduce Waste and Improve Production Capacity

HONG KONG, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Infor today announced Neonlite
Electronic & Lighting (HK) Ltd., one of the world's top manufacturers of
energy-saving lighting products, has selected Infor SCM Warehouse Management
Enterprise Edition and Infor SCM RFID as part of a strategic initiative to
maximize efficiencies and reduce waste in its manufacturing and distribution
operations.
Neonlite, maker of the popular MEGAMAN brand, is headquartered in Hong
Kong and has four manufacturing facilities located in Xiamen, China and
distributes its products to more than 80 countries. Neonlite specializes in
energy efficient lighting products, and is seeing strong growth as consumers
and businesses seek to replace incandescent and halogen lights with
environmentally friendly alternatives.
Neonlite is an existing user of Infor ERP SyteLine, which has powered its
manufacturing operations for the past eight years. As part of a strategic
initiative called W.A.R.E. (Warehouse Management, Automatic Storage/Retrieval,
RFID and ERP), Neonlite is creating a single, integrated system to aid inbound
logistics, raw materials management and manufacturing work-in-process.
Neonlite selected Infor for Warehouse Management and RFID solutions to extend
Infor ERP SyteLine and help the company move forward and achieve its strategic
objectives.

between its facilities and suppliers, while Infor SCM RFID will aid in shop
floor management of inventory. Together with the automated storage and
retrieval systems, the company will have a closed-loop logistic management
solution that increases the utilization of materials, reduces waste and,
together with Infor ERP SyteLine, improves production capacity. The integrated
systems reduce data duplication and provide visibility from raw materials
on-hand to the finished product.
