Conde.net and Yahoo!/Blue Lithium Veterans Join Leading Online Brand Advertising
Network
SAN MATEO, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Brand.net, the first online advertising network focused exclusively on Brand
advertising, today announced the appointment of Beth Soroken-Broun as Director
of Sales for the East Region, based in New York, and Heather Oxer as Director of
Sales for the Central Region, based in Chicago.

Since trafficking its first campaign in May 2008, Brand.net has worked with
dozens of online Brand advertisers on over 50 campaigns, and has grown revenue
rapidly, closing out 2008 with Q4 business in the seven figures. In 2008, over
60 percent of total revenue was generated from campaigns with the top 15 U.S.
advertising spenders, and over 80 percent was generated from campaigns with the
top 100 U.S. advertising spenders. 60 percent of Brand.net`s Q3 advertisers
already have purchased repeat campaigns. In the past year Brand.net has worked
with leading Brand advertisers in the automotive, entertainment, CPG, finance,
retail, technology, telecommunications and travel vertical markets.

Beth Soroken-Broun joins Brand.net from Conde.net where as Executive Sales
Director she lead the Beauty/CPG category, managing key accounts including
Procter & Gamble, Unilever, J&J and Beiersdorf AG. Prior to Conde.net, Beth led
these categories for Time Warner`s InStyle.com.

"Beth has unmatched connections in the health and beauty advertiser community in
New York," said Brand.net CEO and Cofounder Elizabeth Blair. "CPG was our
largest revenue category in 2008. Adding Beth to the team deepens our existing
relationships with top 100 advertisers and expands our role as partner of choice
as they make the Internet a major component of their 2009 Brand advertising
mix."

Heather Oxer joins Brand.net with more than a decade of online sales, marketing
and management experience. Heather ran the Central Region for Blue Lithium, and
managed the Midwest sales team through the company`s acquisition by Yahoo! in
October 2007. She captained the key Retail (Big Box Store and Quick Serve
Restaurant) and CPG categories for the Yahoo! Network in the Central Region.
During this time she worked closely with Top 100 advertisers including Best Buy,
ConAgra, General Mills, Sears, Target and Walgreens.

"Heather has the incredibly rare combination of startup success, portal
experience and a longstanding, deep footprint in the Central online Brand
advertising community. Our sales team, led by Vice President Melissa Goidel, did
a terrific job launching us in 2008. With the addition of Beth and Heather, we
are excited to kick off 2009 bringing Brand.net`s value-based online Brand
advertising opportunities to more advertisers, including the Midwest Brand
community. We deeply appreciate the trust, loyalty and business our advertiser
and agency clients provided to us during 2008, and we will continue to serve
them with the most experienced online Brand sales and media operations team in
the business."
