HUDDERSFIELD, England--(Business Wire)--
Blake International Limited ("Blake"), a Chemical Technology and Marketing
consultancy based in the United Kingdom, announced today that it, and its
Managing Director, Peter J. Hurley, Ph.D. ("Dr Hurley"), are in litigation with
Solucorp Industries, Ltd., ("Solucorp"), (OTC: SLUP) in federal court in New
York. The following summary is based on the pleadings filed with the United
States District Court for the Southern District of New York in this action.

Dr Hurley seeks to recover from Solucorp Dr Hurley`s rights in certain
heavy-metal remediating patents and technologies that he invented and developed,
including, among other things, the patented Integrated Fixation Systems and Air
Pollution Control technologies, which Dr Hurley assigned to Solucorp under the
terms of certain consulting agreements between Dr Hurley and Solucorp. Those
consulting agreements provided that in return for Dr Hurley`s assignment of his
right in the technologies to Solucorp, Solucorp would: (1) create a new company
to own and exploit Dr Hurley`s technologies; (2) give Dr Hurley a significant
equity interest in this company; and (3) pay Dr Hurley annual royalties for the
use of these technologies.

As alleged in Dr Hurley`s counterclaims, Solucorp has completely failed to
fulfill its contractual obligations to Dr Hurley. Faced with Solucorp continued
failures, Dr Hurley informed Solucorp in December 2007 that Solucorp was in
breach of its contractual obligations and that he would be forced to take legal
action if Solucorp did not fulfill these obligations. When Solucorp`s failure to
perform continued, Dr Hurley informed Solucorp in February 2008 that he was
rescinding any and all assignments of his patents and technologies to Solucorp.

Despite this unequivocal rescission, Solucorp has continued to exploit Dr
Hurley`s inventions and technologies without his authorization and without
compensating Dr Hurley. In May 2008, approximately three months after Dr Hurley
informed Solucorp that he was rescinding all assignments of his technologies to
Solucorp, Solucorp announced that it had purportedly licensed Dr Hurley`s
mercury removal technology to CoaLogix, Inc. ("CoaLogix"), a subsidiary of Acorn
Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACFN), for an initial licensing fee of $2 million and
other considerations.

Based on Solucorp`s conduct, its failure to perform its contractual obligations,
and on other legal grounds, Dr Hurley seeks, among other relief, a judicial
decision rescinding all assignments of Dr Hurley`s technologies to Solucorp. Dr
Hurley has requested that the federal court declare that Dr Hurley is the
"rightful owner of all intellectual property rights associated with any
invention or technology that Dr Hurley has assigned to Solucorp since 1999" and
that the court enjoin Solucorp from "continuing to produce, market, license, or
otherwise exploit any of Dr Hurley`s inventions, technologies and related
products."

The litigation also involves allegations by Solucorp that Dr Hurley and Blake,
among other things, interfered with Solucorp`s contractual relations, engaged in
unfair competition, and violated various state laws. Blake and Dr Hurley believe
these claims to be baseless and intend to defend themselves vigorously from what
they perceive to be Solucorp`s attempt to distract attention from its own
failures.
