Revenue Boost Results in Sixth Consecutive Year of Growth for Managed Hosting
and Managed Services Provider
HERNDON, Va.--(Business Wire)--
BlackMesh, a provider of information technology solutions for small and
mid-sized businesses, today announced that the company increased its revenue by
41 percent and grew its customer base by 17 percent in 2008, leading to its
sixth consecutive year of growth. In addition, the company continued to be an
active leader in the Drupal community, doubling throughout the year the number
of Drupal sites hosted on BlackMesh servers. Drupal, a popular open source
content management system, is used by developers around the world to build many
leading Web sites.

"Our continued growth is a testament not only to the talent and experience of
our expert staff, but also to our ability to help customers reduce operating
costs, especially during a time when the bottom line is more important than
ever," said Eric Mandel, CEO of BlackMesh. "By providing the hardware, network
equipment, and staff necessary to maintain an organization's IT infrastructure,
we allow customers to focus on their core business rather than day-to-day
technology issues. This business-cost model, combined with our unlimited,
anytime service plan, is designed for and has been adopted by many emerging
businesses and will continue to support BlackMesh's success into 2009."

BlackMesh significantly expanded its customer base in 2008 with nationally
recognized clients including CommonPlaces, Phase2 Technology and Tag 1
Consulting, which maintains AdBard.net, an advertising network that aims to
foster a friendly and useful advertising community for Free and Open Source
Software (FOSS) oriented websites and advertisers. The company also announced
new partnerships with technology providers R1Soft and Kemp Technologies to
improve and secure the management of BlackMesh customer data.

In addition to doubling the number of Drupal sites BlackMesh hosted in 2008, the
company continued its status as a leader in the Drupal community by presenting
at the official 2008 conference, DrupalCon Boston, and was actively involved in
the Washington D.C. region's local Drupal groups. BlackMesh will take its
relationship with the Drupal community a step further in 2009 with its gold
sponsorship of DrupalCon D.C, which will be held at the Washington, D.C.
Convention Center March 4-7, 2009. More information is available at:
