Serious Materials today announced the appointment of Sandra Vaughan as Chief
Marketing Officer. Vaughan brings over two decades of experience in driving
marketing innovation for leading technology brands and a proven track record in
driving aggressive expansion and growth. As CMO for Serious Materials, Vaughan
is responsible for driving the overall marketing strategy and delivering
world-class results. 

Prior to joining Serious Materials, Vaughan was Senior Vice President of
Marketing and Products for Proofpoint, Inc. While there, she helped drive
massive growth, successfully transforming the company from an early stage
venture to a global leader. Previously, Vaughan was Senior Vice President of
Marketing for BroadVision, Inc., where she played a crucial role in a successful
public offering and growing the company from $2 million to more than $400
million in just five years. She also held leadership positions in sales and
marketing for Sybase and Oracle Corporation.
