New Engagement Approach with Healthcare Providers Leverages MedSynergies`
National Expertise to Provide Range of Support Services
DALLAS--(Business Wire)--
Texas Health Resources Organization for Physicians (THRP) and MedSynergies Inc.
have created a management services organization called Texas Health MedSynergies
(THM) that will offer physicians a range of office management and other business
services to support their practices. The new organization is a joint venture
between Texas Health Resources and MedSynergies, and it creates a new model for
engagement between physicians and hospitals.

As part of the agreement, MedSynergies will constitute the foundation of revenue
cycle management services, including technology, financial and patient services,
account resolution, analytical, human resource processing, accounting,
consulting services and credentialing.

"We believe collaboration among physicians, THRP and MedSynergies will provide
physicians with autonomy and daily operations that closely mirror private
practice, opportunities for enhanced compensation, a more stable practice
environment in a rapidly changing market and financial resources to support
growth," said Michael Stoltz, M.D., president of THRP. "MedSynergies has a
national reputation for physician management services and is headquartered in
North Texas. THM will offer physicians up-to-date, technologically advanced
capabilities for cost-efficient management of their practices. This is one of
the many new approaches Texas Health is taking to enhance engagement between
physicians and our hospitals."

"We are honored to be selected as the partner to help Texas Health develop this
new management services organization and look forward to our mutual success,"
said John R. Thomas, president and CEO of MedSynergies. "THM will offer
physicians an opportunity to work together to improve delivery of care to
patients and enhance quality through a continuum of care strategy. We believe
that this collaborative approach will address the quality needs of patients and
physicians in the community."

Stoltz added, "One of the goals of THM is to help physicians improve quality of
care by allowing them to spend more time with patients delivering care and less
time on the business side of their practices."

THM is expected to begin operations in early 2009.
