Partner, announced that version 7.0 of its Service Management Plus (SM-Plus)for
Sage MAS 500 ERP has recently been released for general availability.

SM-Plus is an integrated information system that manages and maintains both
company-owned and customer-owned assets. SM-Plus provides highly functional
service business process support, including incident tracking, scheduling and
dispatch, wireless mobile field service, work order management and service
contracts. All functions seamlessly integrate to Sage MAS 500 ERP back-office
financials, inventory, purchasing and management reporting-meeting the needs of
an entire service organization. Core SM-Plus features also meet internal
enterprise asset maintenance (EAM) requirements such as plant and fleet
preventative maintenance.

architecture - to set priority levels and enforce service level agreements
* Quick Contract Line Creation (Advanced Version Only) - new "build from sales
order" functionality automates and streamlines sales order entry and retrieval
processes
* Unit Creation from PO Receipt - supports automatic creation of a service unit
upon the receipt of a serial-tracked item into inventory
