EMA Research Reveals Growth and Adoption of Quality of Experience Initiatives
NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--
Knoa Software today announced its award-winning end-user experience and
performance management solutions are showcased in the Enterprise Management
Associates (EMA) IT Management Solutions Center. The new Quality of Experience
(QoE) Solution Center complements EMA`s recent research report, "Quality of
Experience -- the Ultimate Collaboration: How Real Deployments are Succeeding
and Why." This ground-breaking EMA research provides insight into real-world QoE
initiatives, best-practices on how and where QoE projects are succeeding and
data on the future outlook for QoE deployments.

The results of this survey-based report indicate a growth spurt for QoE
initiatives. In fact, 79 percent of the surveyed business and IT professionals
reported that Quality of Experience - defined by EMA as the human experience of
the user consuming IT services - is becoming more important to their
organization. According to EMA, narrowing down a short list of vendors for IT
management initiatives can be overwhelming and often delays key IT projects.
Therefore, the analyst firm created the QoE Solution Center that compares 15
leading QoE products, including Knoa`s Experience & Performance Management Suite
(EPM).

Knoa EPM is an end-user management solution which monitors application execution
from the end-user perspective and provides precise metrics about the end-user
experience as well as measurements on how people interact with software
applications. The software offers an unprecedented level of visibility into the
actual end-user performance and provides metrics that help enterprises improve
performance of both the application and the end-user, driving the efficient and
effective application adoption that delivers business results.

The EMA study revealed that 71 percent of responding companies believe that QoE
is both a business and a technology concern. "Now more than ever, it is
important for organizations to ensure that IT and business goals are aligned,"
said Dennis Drogseth, study leader and vice president at EMA. "QoE solutions
like Knoa EPM facilitate collaboration between IT and business stakeholders that
can be invaluable in promoting superior business performance by ensuring that
end-users are able to fully exploit IT investments in critical business
applications. QoE is the human face to IT services, and Knoa EPM is optimized to
capture that very `human` profile in granular and measurable ways."

"Knoa is delighted to be a keystone member of EMA`s QoE Solution Center to raise
visibility of the demonstrable ROI that end-user experience management is
delivering to our customers," said Lori Wizdo, vice president, marketing, Knoa
Software. "Application usability and end-user experience are increasingly
important metrics for measuring the value and performance of an enterprise's
application portfolio. If users do not, or cannot, effectively utilize
applications, then projects fail. That`s most likely why 43 percent of EMA
survey respondents with QoE deployments said they wished they'd started their
QoE initiatives sooner."
