LONDON, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Planalytics Inc. announced today that
Lloydspharmacy, a leading pharmacy chain with more than 1,700 stores in the
UK, has licensed its Business Weather Intelligence(R) platform.
Lloydspharmacy will use Planalytics weather-driven demand (WDD) analyses for
select product categories to isolate, measure and plan for weather's affect on
sales across its store locations.

"Pharmacies sell many products that are influenced by weather from food and
drinks and other consumables to medicines and various health-related items,"
commented Tim Morris, Managing Director for Planalytics Europe. "Planalytics
will help Lloydspharmacy to better align its business with the weather, from
being prepared for increased or decreased footfall to adjusting inventories to
match changes in demand."

Through the Planalytics service, Lloydspharmacy also receives Planalytics'
weekly Executive WeatherBrief(SM), a weekly report highlighting the effects of
weather during the previous week and coming two week period and Planalytics
Planner(SM), a tool that incorporates WDD indices into the forecasting process
for specific product categories.
