Effective Immediately, James Cordova Becomes Partner in Charge of the Tax
Practice for One of Southern California's Largest CPA Firms

LONG BEACH, Calif., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Windes & McClaughry Accountancy
Corporation, a leading Southern California accounting and consulting firm with
82 years in business, today announced that James Cordova will serve as
Department Chairman of the Firm's Tax and Accounting Services Practice. John
Di Carlo, managing partner-elect, recently held this position and is preparing
for his new role commencing July, 2009.

"Jim is extremely bright and has made tremendous contributions to the growth
of the Firm as well as to the success of our clients," says Jack Hinsche,
current managing partner of Windes & McClaughry. "I couldn't be more pleased
with this appointment as Jim brings a great deal of enthusiasm and passion to
our growing and expanding Tax practice. Jim serves a wide variety of clients
in industries including manufacturing, real estate, retail, construction,
freight, warehousing, wholesale, and fuel, as well as high-net-worth
individuals. This diverse and extensive experience continues to provide the
Firm an excellent perspective and focus with Jim as the chair of this
department."

Cordova, who joined the Firm in 1991, was recently elected to a two-year term
as a director on the Windes & McClaughry Board. He has a bachelor of science
in accounting from California State University, Long Beach and a master's
degree in taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Cordova
specializes in mergers and acquisitions consulting, multi-state taxation
issues and planning, international tax, and tax strategies involving real
property transactions.

"With the current economic recession, it's more important than ever for CPAs
to work closely with their clients to provide strategic business and personal
financial guidance as they face these challenging times," says Cordova. "This
is particularly important for California taxpayers, because the State's
current budget crisis may result in increased state taxes."

Cordova is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
(AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA).
He also is on the board of directors for the Memorial Medical Center
Foundation in Long Beach where he serves as secretary.
