More than 60 courses for a broad range of industries, businesses and coverages.
CHICAGO--(Business Wire)--
CNA insurance companies proudly announce the availability of more than 60
courses in its 2009 School of Risk Control Excellence Course Catalog designed
for business owners, risk managers, human resource personnel and safety
professionals. Provided as a complimentary service to CNA agents, policyholders
and their employees, these value-added courses are applicable to businesses
across a broad range of industry segments and a variety of coverage lines.

"From a small business to a large enterprise, exposure to risk can result in
business loss and interruption," said Bill Boyd, senior vice president of Risk
Control, CNA. "Our School of Risk Control Excellence can help businesses
maintain profitability by cutting costs and controlling exposures; and help
agents secure new business and retain existing accounts."

New courses have been created based on feedback from CNA agents and clients. All
courses can be adapted to fit a variety of schedules and delivered in Webinar
format to reach participants in multiple locations. Most courses are eligible
for .3 CEUs from the International Association for Continuing Education and
Training and can be co-branded with various insurance agencies.

"My business is always looking for ways to minimize claims and keep our company
safe," said Randy Evers of Evers & Whately Electric Inc. "I attended the
Managing Your Fleet Safety (course) on the advice of my agent and would
certainly recommend a CNA Risk Control class to other businesses. I will also
take another course in the future."

In addition to the courses, the School offers Boot Camps which address
industry-specific loss drivers from safety and industrial practice viewpoints;
and Industry Guides which provide an analysis of industry-specific loss
exposures based on claim data.

Since its inception in 2005, the CNA School of Risk Control has held more than
1,000 classes and served 19,000 attendees. Specific courses are also available
in Spanish. For additional information about CNA Risk Control and its School of
