Board Plans National Search for New CEO
WASHINGTON--(Business Wire)--
The American Clean Skies Foundation (ACSF) has appointed Kelley Rickenbaker, the
general manager and executive director of programming for CleansSkies.tv, as the
interim Chief Executive Officer of the organization. He follows Denise Bode who
resigned late last year to become CEO of the American Wind Energy Association
(AWEA).

"Kelley is familiar with the mission and operations of the Foundation through
his key role in building CleanSkies.tv over the past year into a very important
online news channel dedicated to covering two of the most pressing issues facing
our country - energy and the environment. His familiarity with the overall
organization gives us the continuity we need to actively pursue our ambitious
agenda to advance clean-burning, American-produced natural gas as the best
solution to our environmental and energy challenges," commented Aubrey K.
McClendon, Chairman of ACSF.

Rickenbaker is a respected journalist having spent three decades in network
news, including groundbreaking environmental news coverage for CNN. As general
manager and executive director of CleanSkies.tv, Rickenbaker has created news
programming to address many of the most important energy and environmental
issues facing the nation. In addition, he has overseen the expansion of
CleanSkies.tv programming to include thought-provoking roundtable discussions
featuring leading experts, opinion-leaders and policy-makers expressing a
wide-range of viewpoints and opinions. Kelley`s leadership also resulted in the
creation of "Clean Skies Sunday," a Sunday-morning issue-oriented forum
providing comprehensive debate and discussion of energy and environmental
issues. The program airs in Washington, D.C.

"We are deeply appreciative of Denise Bode for her leadership during the past
year. Her efforts have resulted in the American Clean Skies Foundation emerging
as an important and respected new voice for natural gas at a time when our
nation urgently seeks a new energy future built on clean energy sources. We wish
Denise the best in her new position at AWEA and we look forward to working with
her and AWEA on advancing shared goals for greater use of natural gas and wind
as well as solar to power America`s future," McClendon said.

"I appreciate the confidence Aubrey has demonstrated by selecting me to lead the
organization during this time of transition," Rickenbaker said. "We have
established a lot of momentum the past year at the Foundation and at
CleanSkies.tv and we fully intend to capitalize on it as 2009 begins. With that
said, we know energy and economy are at the center of the new administration`s
agenda and we believe natural gas will play a major role in building the energy
future envisioned by our new President."

ACSF will launch a national search for a new CEO in the coming weeks to replace
Bode. "We will review the criteria and qualifications for the position to help
us find the right person to lead this Foundation going forward. The age of
natural gas is upon us, making the educational mission of ACSF more important
than ever," McClendon concluded.

The American Clean Skies Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization whose
mission is to educate the public about environmental and energy issues.ACSF
educates about the benefits of using natural gas as part of a sustainable energy
future and was formed as a think tank to provide information about natural gas,
clean energy and energy efficiency.
