Bellarmine Football Nationally Honored

WHEN: Wednesday, January 14 from 10 -10:15 a.m. 

WHERE: Bellarmine College Preparatory (960 W. Hedding St. San Jose) 

WHAT: MaxPreps and the Army National Guard will present Head Football Coach Mike
Janda and the Bellarmine football team with its Tour of Champions National
Rankings Trophy in honor of the team`s 20th ranking out of 15,000 high school
football teams across the country. 

The entire Bellarmine football team will be recognized in this public ceremony
on the Bellarmine campus. Bellarmine is one of only 30 schools being honored by
MaxPreps.com, an online source for high school sports coverage. 

BACKGROUND: The Bellarmine football team finished its season 12-1 as Central
Coast Section champions. This was the fourth CCS win for Bellarmine and the
first since 1990. This also marked Coach Janda`s 25th season coaching the Bells.
