Earthquake rattles Alaska's largest city

ANCHORAGE, Alaska Jan 24 (Reuters) - A moderate 5.7-magnitude earthquake shook Anchorage, Alaska's largest city, on Saturday morning.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake's epicenter was 161 miles (260 km) southwest of Anchorage. There was no tsunami warning in effect, according to the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center website.

Magnitude 5 quakes can cause considerable damage, but there were no immediate reports of injury or damage. (Reporting by Yereth Rosen; Writing by Braden Reddall)
