Customer Interaction Management Expert Vetras to Drive New Growth, Build on Significant 2008 Momentum SEATTLE--(Business Wire)-- Visible Technologies, a leading provider of social media analysis and engagement solutions, today announced executive management changes to help accelerate the company`s robust growth and momentum entering 2009. The company named Dan Vetras, who has extensive experience building and running Customer Interaction Management (CIM) companies, as the new chief executive officer. Adam Selig, who served as CEO for the past two and a half years, will move into a new role as divisional president of strategic alliances, a position that allows him to expand Visible Technologies` partnerships and be geographically closer to his young family. "Adam has done an excellent job developing Visible Technologies from an early-stage company into one of the industry`s leading providers of social media analytics and engagement," said Visible Technologies chairman Joe Grano. "By refocusing Adam`s talents, we will reinforce our success with current and future channel partners. At the same time, bringing in Dan to lead the team will expedite Visible Technologies` growth." Selig added, "It was clear to me and the board of directors that the best way to accelerate growth for the company was to focus my efforts on our critical distribution channels and key partners and to pass the management of the organization to a Seattle-based technology executive." Incoming Vetras brings more than 25 years of experience in technology, sales management, business development and M&A activity to Visible Technologies. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of Talisma, a Bellevue, Washington-based company that sells CIM solutions. At Talisma, Vetras was instrumental in the May 2008 sale of the company to nGenera, a provider of business innovation platform software. Prior to joining Talisma, Vetras was president and CEO at Captura Software, where he directed the company`s strategies and operations and played a key role in Captura`s 2002 acquisition by Concur Technologies. "I`m excited about the opportunity to join the team at Visible Technologies. They clearly grasp how important it is to glean business insight from social data and provide enterprises with actionable intelligence to transform the customer experience and marketing initiatives to grow their businesses," Vetras said. "The next stage of Visible Technologies` growth will be about leveraging their momentum, expanding their social technologies and increasing market share with Global 1000 clients and partners," said Michelle Goldberg, board member and partner with Ignition Partners, a Visible Technologies investor. "Dan has the perfect combination of industry vision and experience to help drive the company into this new era." The executive changes, effective immediately, follow on the heels of Visible Technologies` 300 percent sales growth in 2008 and news that the company was named a "strong performer" by influential analyst firm Forrester Research. Visible Technologies gathered additional momentum in the past six months by expanding key partnerships with WPP network companies Wunderman and M80, which used Visible Technologies solutions to drive success among their customers in social media. "We want to welcome Dan and thank Adam for his vision and dedication to building Visible Technologies, which enabled WPP companies to better serve their clients," said Mark Read, WPP director of strategy and CEO, WPP Digital. "The company`s technology platform and its mantra of `listen, learn and engage` resonates with WPP clients who are increasingly using social media to reach their consumers, build brands and shape opinions online."
