Apollo Management hires Henry Silverman as COO-WSJ

Feb 13 (Reuters) - Private-equity firm Apollo Management [APOLO.UL] has hired financier Henry Silverman as chief operating officer, the Wall Street Journal said, citing people familiar with the situation.

Apollo did a number of deals during the private equity boom and has investments in companies including gaming firm Harrah's Entertainment Inc, Claire's Stores and real estate company Realogy. [ID:nN03495853]
