JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said on Sunday she had agreed to hold further talks for a possible joint government with right-wing leader Benjamin Netanyahu, but that "substantial differences" remained.

Livni said Netanyahu had asked for another session and "there is no reason not to." Sunday's talks were the first since an inconclusive February 10 election.

Israeli President Shimon Peres asked Netanyahu on Friday to form a government, and Netanyahu wants Livni's centrist Kadima faction to join his coalition.
