HONG KONG Feb 25 (Reuters) - Lenovo Group (0992.HK), the world's fourth-largest maker of personal computers, will eliminate 450 jobs in China, a company official said, as it cuts costs in a bid to return to profitability in 2010.

The jobs to be eliminated support global operations and are in addition to the 2,500 job cuts announced by the company early this year as part of a broader restructuring. (Reporting by Joanne Chiu; Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
