LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Ellen DeGeneres is making a return to the animated big screen for the first time since 2003's "Finding Nemo."

The Emmy-winning daytime talk show host will star in the voice cast of "Dog Show," an animation feature pitch that Warner Bros. has picked up.

Plot details are being kept on a leash, but the story centers on a stray dog and her misfit friends who shake up the purebred world of a Westminster-like dog show.

The story pitch is from Alan Schoolcraft and Brent Simons, the writers behind DreamWorks Animation's' "Master Mind," which is in production with Robert Downey Jr. and Tina Fey as the lead voice actors.
