as Partner

Julie Andreeff Jensen hired as Director to focus on coalitions and issue
campaigns

WASHINGTON, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Brunswick Group LLC, a leading strategic
communications consultancy, today announced that Michele Davis, former
Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Public Affairs and Director of Policy
Planning, has joined the firm's Washington, DC office as Partner. Also today,
Brunswick announced that Julie Andreeff Jensen, who most recently served as
Pennsylvania's Get-Out-the-Vote Director for Barack Obama, has joined the firm
as Director.

Michele Davis has served in several vital roles in government. She was
appointed as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Public Affairs in 2001
and in 2005 as Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security
Advisor for Communications. In 2006, Michele rejoined Treasury as Assistant
Secretary for Public Affairs and added the responsibility of Director of
Policy Planning. In those roles, she served as a top advisor to Secretary
Henry Paulson as he formulated his policy agenda that included reforming the
financial regulatory system and corporate tax structure, strengthening the
economic relationship with China, and advancing open trade and investment
policies.

Michele began her government career in 1994 working for the leadership of the
House of Representatives as an economist on the Joint Economic Committee. From
1995 to 2000, she served as Press Secretary and Communications Director in the
Office of the Majority Leader. She graduated from Georgetown University with a
B.S. in Foreign Service, specializing in International Economics. She earned
her master's in Economics from American University.

As Get-Out-the-Vote Director of Pennsylvania for the Obama/Biden campaign,
Julie Andreeff Jensen helped President Obama achieve the largest Democratic
margin of victory in decades, carrying the battleground state by 11 points.
Before joining the Obama campaign, she served as Deputy Political Director,
National Field Director and Iowa State Director for Senator Chris Dodd's
presidential campaign.

In 2004, Julie assisted in the Democratic nomination and campaign of John
Kerry. She worked in five primary states including Iowa, where she eventually
returned to serve as Kerry's Political Director during the general election.
Toward the end of the campaign, she served as Regional Field Director in Ohio,
managing Get-Out-the-Vote efforts in Cleveland and the suburbs of Cuyahoga
County.

She earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from American University and
has worked as a strategy advisor at America Votes, Law Media Group, the Atlas
Project, Independent Strategies and various non-profit organizations.
