Obama says confident plan will revive banking sector

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama said on Tuesday he was absolutely confident his plans to fix the U.S. banking sector would work.

Speaking to reporters at the end of a meeting with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Obama said, "I'm absolutely confident that they will work, and I'm absolutely confident that credit is going to be flowing again."
