LOS ANGELES, March 3 (Reuters) - The Walt Disney Co (DIS.N) is considering creating a subscription-based online movie and TV rental service from the company's vast video library, Chief Executive Bob Iger said on Tuesday.

Iger said the company could create an online Disney video club, in which members could have DVDs mailed to them or could download video files.

Iger made the comments at Deutsche Bank Securities' 17th Annual Media & Telecommunications Conference. (Reporting by Gina Keating, editing by Leslie Gevirtz)
