CORRECTED-Canada February job losses bigger than expected

110,900, which is the figure for full-time job losses)
 March 13 (Reuters) - The Canadian economy shed more jobs
than expected in February, losing a net 82,600 posts in the
month as the unemployment rate jumped to 7.7 percent, the
highest since 2003, Statistics Canada said on Friday.

 NOTE: Analysts surveyed by Reuters had expected the economy to
shed 52,500 jobs in February and the unemployment rate to rise
to 7.4 percent. The employment figures are seasonally adjusted.
Hourly wage figures are for permanent employees.
