Lions Gate hires team to fend off Icahn
LOS ANGELES, March 17 |
LOS ANGELES, March 17 (Reuters) - Lions Gate Entertainment (LGF.N) has hired an advisory team to launch a defense against financier Carl Icahn, who is seeking to exert control over the studio, according to two people with knowledge of the situation on Tuesday.
The team includes investment banker Morgan Stanley (MS.N) and the law firm of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen and Katz.
