Evident Software Appoints Industry Veteran Shawn Findlan to Board of Directors

today announced that Shawn Findlan, Managing Partner and Founder of West Avenue
Group, has been elected to Evident Software`s Board of Directors.

Findlan brings more than 18 years of technology experience to Evident Software,
including extensive knowledge of infrastructure, architecture strategy and
experience with leading enterprise customers. Findlan says, "Evident has a great

Morgan Stanley. Before Morgan Stanley, Findlan was VP of Infrastructure and
Innovation for Global Credit Trading at J.P. Morgan Investment Bank and
Infrastructure Manager for Global Credit Risk Management and Global Derivatives
in New York. Findlan was recognized in 2007 as the Best CTO on Wall Street, in
2006 as Computer World Laureate, and in 2005 for Best Technology Initiative.
