Deputy Chief Brian Harvey of the Dallas Police Department Announced as Keynote
Speaker at Regional Conference to Combat FBI Estimated $30 Billion Annual ORC
Business Losses
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Universal Surveillance Systems (USS Corp.) announced today that it will host the
Dallas Organized Retail Crime Conference and Symposium to be held on Friday,
March 27, 2009 at the JCPenney headquarters in Plano, Texas, from 8 a.m. to 3
p.m.

With U.S. retailers losing upwards of $30 billion each year to Organized Retail
Crime (ORC), according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the conference
provides a forum for regional loss prevention professionals, law enforcement,
retailers, and government to network and work together to address ORC issues.

"USS is sponsoring this event because it is critical for retailers, law
enforcement and government agencies to work together to find effective solutions
to combat the existing and ever-growing threat of ORC," said Adel Sayegh,
President and CEO of USS Corp. "This conference is a reflection of how serious
ORC has become," Sayegh continued. "As we face the economic uncertainties of our
time, this meeting of legislators, law enforcement and loss prevention experts
from the retail industry happens at a crucial time. ORC has had a tremendous
negative impact on retailers and their loyal customers. I am certain that by
coming together, we can significantly reduce ORC`s impact on retail businesses
in the greater Dallas, Texas, area and beyond."

The Dallas Organized Retail Crime Conference has a diverse lineup of speakers
