CECO Environmental Announces Two Refinery Orders Totaling Approximately $1.25
Million

One Order Secured by China Operation for Shipment to India

CINCINNATI, March 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CECO Environmental Corp.
(NasdaqGM: CECE), a leading provider of air pollution control and industrial
ventilation systems, announced today that it has secured two new orders from
the refining industry totaling approximately $1.25 million.

Rick Blum, President and Chief Operating Officer, stated, "Both of these
orders were secured by companies in our equipment group.  While we did no work
in the refining industry two years ago, that industry now makes up the second
largest segment of our backlog."

Phillip DeZwirek, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "One of the
orders was secured by our office in China.  The equipment will be fabricated
in our facility there and shipped to a customer in India.  We are truly
becoming global."
