Drury Design Dynamics Names Joshua Harrison as Director of Learning and Performance

NEW YORK--(Business Wire)-- Drury Design Dynamics, a leader in the full service business communications industry based in New York, announced that Joshua Harrison will be joining its team as Director of Learning and Performance. Mr. Harrison will be responsible for leading Drury`s award winning Learning and Performance group, working with the creative, sales and marketing teams to expand the Drury`s offerings as well as developing new business opportunities. As a fifteen year veteran in the field of communications, Harrison has extensive experience in every aspect from building individual training and sales tools, to rolling out complete learning systems and helping large companies manage cultural changes before and after mergers. Mr. Harrison has been a leader in using technology in pharmaceutical sales training. He helped introduce video streaming, web-based and satellite delivery to launch meetings. In addition he has worked on learning modules, installations, kiosks, live training, and interactive presentations and learning environments. He will bring these combined skills and offerings to Drury Design Dynamics. As an L&P Project Lead, he managed teams of up to 200 people and oversaw projects with budgets of up to $15 million for diverse a list of clients including Pfizer, Novartis, Merck, BMS, GSK, Boeringher Ingelheim and Schering Plough, Canon USA, Citibank, GE Capital, Lucent Technologies, AT&T, Time Warner and the Smithsonian Institute, among many others. Harrison attended Yale University and the University of California, and did his postgraduate studies in France and Italy. He spent a year in Argentina as a Fulbright Scholar in the early days of the World Wide Web working on the relationship between knowledge acquisition and the emerging possibilities of information transfer created by the internet. In addition to his career in learning and performance, Harrison runs an independent film company that specializes in film and documentaries with an emphasis on Latin American and Caribbean themes. He is also co-founder and director of the St. Barth Festival of Caribbean Film. Harrison lives in New York with his wife and young daughter.
