MISSISSAUGA, ON, Mar 24 (MARKET WIRE) --
Sage North America announced today the availability of Sage
BusinessVision 50 Accounting 2009, the new version of the company's
affordable, easy-to-use business management solution for growing small
businesses. The 2009 version features several improvements to two key
modules, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), giving users
the ability to find and manage this vital financial information faster
and easier than ever. This helps companies become more efficient while
still staying on top of their cash flow. A new data import utility, which
allows for easy input of AR or AP transactions, has also been added to
these two modules. Pricing for Sage BusinessVision 50 Accounting 2009
remains unchanged from last year's version.

Sage BusinessVision 50 Accounting is an affordable, easy-to-use business
management solution for growing small businesses that need a step above
entry-level accounting applications, but don't require a more
sophisticated, enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, such as Sage
Accpac ERP. It's an ideal choice for companies that have outgrown
entry-level bookkeeping software such as Intuit(R) QuickBooks(R).

"Sage BusinessVision 50 Accounting is a tremendous value for the money,"
said Sam Hunter, Sage North America senior vice president and general
manager, Business Management Division. "Staying true to our focus on the
customer, and appreciating how small businesses need to be more efficient
than ever right now, the 2009 version performs even better, and is
especially beneficial in situations where one person must handle multiple
jobs."

    AR Module Improvements

Keeping a close eye on receivables is more important than ever, and Sage
BusinessVision 50 Accounting 2009 features a convenient, new tab view that
allows users to view more key information from one screen, such as a
customer's average days to pay history. Companies can use this valuable
information to develop incentives for their customers to pay early or keep
close watch on those that are paying late.

    AP Module Improvements

Sage BusinessVision 50 Accounting 2009 helps small businesses better
manage their payments, with more information and functions than ever
available on the same screen, such as Select/Deselect All, Vendor Contact
information, Remit-to functions, Check voiding, New Invoice entry, and
Status fields.

    New Data Import Functionality

An easy-to-use wizard helps guide users through importing from either a
CSV or Microsoft(R) Excel(R) file format. New data that can be imported
includes AP and AR transactions, Customer Ship-to, and Customer- and
Vendor-specific pricing information.

Sage BusinessVision 50 Accounting 2009 (U.S. and Canadian versions) is now
