RESTON, VA, Mar 24 (MARKET WIRE) --
STG, Inc., a leading provider of information technology (IT), technical
security, engineering and scientific services, announced today that Bill
Cleghorn has been promoted to Vice President, Systems Engineering and
Integration (SEI). In this role, Mr. Cleghorn will be responsible for
full oversight and leadership of more than 100 employees providing
performance-based information engineering technology support for
Department of Defense programs.
"I am humbled and honored to be selected to lead the SEI group and look
forward to continuing to take care of our customers," said Mr. Cleghorn.
"It is the employees who I have worked with, and who have worked for me,
who have done much of the work to get STG's SEI group where it is today --
a thriving organization that has shown remarkable growth in the past
several years."
Mr. Cleghorn joined STG in 2005 as Director of Operations for the Defense
Sector. Under his leadership, STG has seen marked growth under its TEIS
and ITES contracts. He oversaw several key wins at Picatinny Arsenal and
helped engineer the growth that led to STG's new state-of-the-art
prototyping and production facility in Warrenton, Va.
"Bill's knowledge of the Army IT community has significantly impacted the
ability of STG to provide 'best practice' solutions to the Army," said Bob
Frisbie, STG Senior Vice President, Defense Sector. "He is a key reason
behind the success of our SEI group and a tremendous asset to STG."
Before joining STG, Mr. Cleghorn had a distinguished 28-year career in the
U.S. Army, retiring as Colonel, Deputy Director, Logistics & Readiness
Center at U.S Army, CE-LCMC (CECOM). He holds an MS in National Security
Strategy from the National War College at Ft. McNair, DC and holds a BA in
