Teller receipt and validation printer manufacturer reaches milestone with IJ6080
model
MONROVIA, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Addmaster Corporation, a longstanding supplier of specialized peripheral devices
for the banking industry and leading manufacturer of teller receipt and
validation printers for some of the nation`s most prominent financial
institutions, announced shipment of its 100,000th IJ6080 receipt validation
printer.

First introduced in 2000, the IJ6080 was Addmaster`s first bank printer to use
the Hewlett Packard (HP) C6602a cartridge, an improved version of HP`s Thinkjet
technology used in the company`s earlier products. The IJ6080 features a variety
of user-configurable print modes that can be accessed without software
modification and is one of the smallest receipt validation printers on the
market. In all, Addmaster has shipped more than 300,000 printers worldwide since
1990.

"This milestone is a true testament to the value of Addmaster products -
especially the IJ6080," said Hugh Clary, vice president of Addmaster. "Since
first introducing this product less than ten years ago, it has become one of the
company`s best-selling inkjet receipt validation printers largely because of its
quiet operation, counter-space saving design and outstanding print quality."

This announcement follows the company`s recently announced 33 percent increase
in unit volume sales of financial peripherals including receipt and validation
printers, check scanners, and MICR readers, for 2008 over 2007. The IJ6080 is
being replaced by the IJ7000 series, though it is still available through the
end of this year.

"We are ramping up our marketing efforts to bring the IJ7000 product line to the
attention of prospective customers," said Clary. "This new product offers a
significant breakthrough in terms of receipt quality, transaction throughput,
and overall performance. This month, we have already started shipping the
IJ7100, and we plan to begin shipping the IJ7200 very soon as well."

Addmaster has installed more than 300,000 peripheral devices in banks and
financial institutions across the U.S.
